The draft constitution of Kurdistan enclosed the rights and freedoms in general and the rights of women in particular with many guarantees, and needless to say that the constitutional rules rank first in terms of the hierarchy of legal rules. Men in many fields, the most important of which is social and political rights, which is known as positive discrimination against women. This principle, which has a constitutional nature, obliges all authorities, including Parliament, which intervened several times to empower women politically and socially through several legislations, in compliance with this principle, which in fact enshrines the principle of equality. between man and woman. The study deals with the most prominent areas of positive discrimination for women, who were granted rights that sometimes exceed the rights of men until the principle of effective equality is achieved. It is worth noting that this principle was referred to by many international conventions that cannot be overlooked because it is in itself binding on the countries that have ratified it.
