Abstract

One of the new issues that have emerged in the recent times is the change of sex and this stems from the person’s feeling of changing his gender to a conflict other than what he was born with. This differs from the process of converting or stabilizing the sex, which is considered as a radical solution and is by conducting a surgical operation and under the supervision of a specialized and official medical committee and within the scope of the instructions issued. But in changing the person, the person is looking for a mechanism that enables him to permanently convert. The goal of the process of changing the gender is to reach a specific goal, which is the person’s becoming the sex he desires. and their doing this involves a major violation of public order and public morals, and a clear violation of the principles of Islamic sharia because God Almighty created man, male or female, and it is not permissible to rebel against that and pretend to imitate the opposite sex as this leads to a disturbance in the legal provisions.
