This study evaluates the feminist theoretical perspective on women's participation in peacebuilding, on the premise that feminism provides a critical analytical framework that shifts the concept of peace from the mere "cessation of violence" toward "social justice and the rebuilding of relationships." The study works on three levels: the theoretical and conceptual framework (feminism and peacebuilding); an analysis of successes, failures, and lessons learned through comparative experiences (Northern Ireland, Rwanda, and the Kurdish experience); and the contradictions of implementing the theory in reality. The study concludes that women's effective participation is a structural condition for sustainable peace rather than a symbolic addition, and that the gap between theory and practice is fundamentally a gap of power rather than of knowledge, since political and cultural structures can strip the theory of its emancipatory content.
