Abstract

Combating and criminalizing human trafficking has its own challenges. This topic of our research is not specifically related to these crimes, but rather aims further that. This research focuses on victims of these crimes and how to ensure compensation and financial Assist.ance. In order to be more accurate, we analyze in this study one of the means of compensation for victims that the United Nations began under the General Assembly resolution in the year 2010 within the framework of (United Nations Global Plan of Action to Combat Trafficking in Persons) and is called (the United Nations Voluntary Trust Fund for Victims of Trafficking in Persons). This fund represents a model through which we understand all voluntary trust funds established by the United Nations and have missions in the domain of victim protection or in other areas.
